Ismael and Ana Jimenez started this “little gem of a salon in the desert,” in October 2013, opening their first location in beautiful Rancho Mirage with two stylists. After only one year and two more stylists we outgrew our first location. Today they have an environmentally conscious full service Aveda salon inside The Atrium in Rancho Mirage serving our guests with now 5 stylists and their amazing front desk manager. Our commitment is to exceed your expectations from the moment you walk through the doors. Agape Salon began with an idea of creating an environment where Ana would always be happy doing what she loves, which is; Hair and everything to do with hair. A place where Ana would be able to extend her love of hair and share that love with others.
We chose the name Agape, because of its meaning, it’s a Greek word that means LOVE, God’s unconditional love. And we want to utilize the gifts He has given us to share our love of hair with others. You can follow our amazing journey on our Instagram account.

Christina Castañeda
Hello, my name is Christina. I have over 13 years of color and styling experience. Hair has always been my passion that allows me to connect to people on a deeper level. I love building strong connections with my guests and helping them express their personality through their appearance. I am versatile with women and men services. Being born and raised in this desert, I’ve had the opportunity to manage three different franchise salons and even opened my own salon studio. I’m currently managing and behind the chair at Agape Salon, which is a home away from home. At Agape Salon we strive to give you an extraordinary experience. I am currently rebuilding my clientele and would love to meet new faces.
Kristy
Hi, my name is Kristy and I am so thrilled to join the team at Agape Salon. I fell in love with this creative career over 27 years ago and I am so happy to say that love has never faded. I started out in Riverside Ca where I learned a wide range of salon services. From there I moved out to Huntington Beach where I focused mainly on haircuts, highlights and color. After moving back to Riverside and finally landing in our beautiful desert I worked on a lot of wedding and special event hairstyling. I have more recently been in the resort spa environment but I always love the feeling of connecting with local people in a salon the most! My goal is to always give the absolute best service in helping my guests look and feel amazing! From a haircut that suits you just right to color that enhances your style, bringing these and other relaxing experiences to others I find to be the best job in the world!
Autumn
An outgoing and bubbly person who has been offering her hair expertise and services to the desert for 19 years. She is a third generation hairstylist, and it has been a passion of hers since she was a teenager. She has always loved helping people look and feel their best. Autumn’s artistic background and her ability to connect with her clients, allows her to find the perfect look for anyone.
Autumn is an expert in color and has experience in highlights, balayage, and ombre. She also specializes in men’s and women’s haircuts and has a background in spas, country clubs, and wedding parties. She also possesses seven years experience in working with wigs and hairpieces.
