“All business development begins with personal development”

— DEBRA NEILL

Ismael and I went to our second Serious business conference in New Orleans, January 19-23,
and words cannot express the encouragement and knowledge we gained by going to the
conference. You can learn more about them https://seriousbusiness.net/.
Even tho we took lots of notes here is a brief summarize on some of the things we learned. As
the quote above states we’re at this conference for business development learning but we come
out with personal development that changes us, we share what we learn with our team so they
can grow and succeed.

● Our guest come to see us on some of the most important milestones of their lives.
● We are licensed to touch people. We touch people in a positive way, they leave them
better than how they came in.
● Our guest share personal things with us that no one else knows because they trust us.
● We are one of the top happiest careers
● The culture of our salon is very important for growth and future success
● We must work on developing our team, mentor and inspire them
● We must continue to add value to our services and people who walk through our doors
● Treat guest as if it’s their first visit every time
● Give them new ideas for their hair

And to sum up the rest… we must stay in our lane, allow them (our team) to do their job and
add value to the place they love to work in.
Thank you for reading, Ismael and Ana Jimenez
